Frequently Asked Questions

Once I've opened my sauce, where should I keep it?

You can keep your sauce in the pantry or fridge, its down to personal preference. Hot sauce is shelf stable, as it has a high acidity level. Just make sure that wherever you store it, that the lid is shut tightly and your sauce will be fine!

If un-used for a while, some separation may occur. Don't worry, this is completely normal. All you need to do is give the bottle a good shake, and you'll be ready to roll!

Why is my sauce a slightly different colour to the photos?

Our sauces are made by hand, in small batches, so there might be slight colour variances between batches. We can assure you that the flavours will always be the same, regardless of these slight colour changes.

Why is my order taking a while to be shipped/fulfilled?

As a small business, we try our best to fulfill orders as quickly as we can, but sometimes we can only get orders posted once per week. All of our sauces are made by hand in small batches. And our small team have other full-time jobs as well. Express orders always get priority to get shipped as soon as we can.

Thank you for understanding that we try our best to get your order out to you, should you have queries about your order, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

What is the expiry date of my sauce?

We give our sauces a Best Before date of one year from date it was made.
This date can be found on the bottom of the bottle.

As a general rule, hot sauces are made with high acidity levels, so they can last much longer than a year, especially un-opened.

We feel that our sauces are best consumed within a year, if they even last you that long!

Why are your sauces more expensive than ones i can find at the supermarket?

A good question indeed! At the moment, we are a small scale operation, filling bottles by hand, labelling by hand and with one person making all of our sauces.

The costs of ingredients, packaging, shipping labels, bottles and everything else it takes to run a small business all start to add up. Until we reach a stage of higher production, we can't afford to have prices that compete with your local supermarket. But we can offer you sauces that potentially blow the socks off some of those bigger name brands instead!

Thank you for choosing to support us and our small business!
